About Mathon Paris
Founded in 1931 in the birthplace of French jewellery, the Palais Royal district of Paris, Mathon Paris remains one of a very few Parisian jewelers to keep the manufacturing process at the heart of its craft. Each ring is individually fashioned and reviewed by more than twenty people. All jewels are produced by hand, from the model stage to the meticulous finish. With such obsessive attention to detail, it's no wonder that so many prestigious jewelry companies entrust Mathon with their manufactures.

Mathon Paris houses one of the last integrated workshops in France. Everything from design, modelling, moulding, and manufacturing, is done under one roof. Mathon Paris' commitment to the manufacturing process is maintained by active support of the prestigious Parisian School "Ecole de Bijouterie - Joaillerie deParis", where young and gifted future jewellers are awarded apprenticeships under the tutelage of master craftsmen of the Mathon Paris workshop.

Mathon Paris' respect for the jewellery trade helps to uphold the strong image of "French excellence" at a global scale. In 2006, Mathon Paris received recognition of "Label Joaillerie de France" (Label Jewel of France), a distinction that assures all Mathon Paris collection pieces are manufactured, mounted, set and polished in France according to the rules established by the French jewelry manufacturers ("les r่gles de l'Art"). In 2007, the French Ministry of Economic, Finance and Employment granted Mathon Paris the "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" or French "Living Heritage Company" label, an honor given to French companies that have economic heritage consisting of rare, renowned or ancestral know-how based on the command of traditional or highly technical techniques. The Mathon Paris workshop was also classified as part of Cultural and Economic Inheritance of France in 2007.
