Until now if you wanted to purchase such fine jewelry and other items, you either had to live close to the source, travel great distances or rely on local shops that offered overpriced and often items that were manufactured and not handcrafted by Real Native Americans.
Don lives in Strawberry, Arizona, surrounded by many Native American reservations. He buys direct from the tribe's people. Many of the items are signed by the artist that created them. "It's really rewarding traveling around the state of Arizona and neighboring states, talking and dealing with the local tribal people", says Don. "Often times there is a history or story that goes along with the items I buy. I try to pass this history or story along to the purchaser of the product."
